About this blog

        The purpose of this blog is mainly to share thoughts on music, and encourage people to think more about the music they listen to. I write a good bit about the old hymns and their history. However, I do not write only on music. I also write on my life, and philosophical musings as they come up. My overall mission is to bring glory to my God to whom I have given my life. Some of you may scoff at what might be perceived as the waste of a life, but perhaps consider that you don't know what you're missing out on. I would say with Issac Watts:

Let those refuse to sing who never knew our God.
But children of the heavenly king
may speak their joys abroad.
